This is also painted to commemorate the 200 years since the birth of Antoine d’Abbadie. The central part of this farmhouse dates from the beginning of the 1700s & it was later extended twice. It is situated in the Domaine d’Abbadie, downhill from the château.
No longer a farm, it is now used for accommodating artists in residence & for creative activities with school groups.

J’ai réalisé ce tableau pour commémorer les 200 ans depuis la naissance d’Antoine d’Abbadie. La partie centrale de la maison date du début du XVIIIéme siècle et a ensuite été agrandie à deux reprises. Elle est située dans le domaine d’Abbadie en contrebas du château.
Elle est aujourd’hui accommodé pour accueillir des artistes et pour des activités créatives scolaires.
the colors of your sky and snow are so close, but you’ve captured very delicate shadows in the snow with some light to show the difference. I would love to visit that farmhouse. And your trees have a lovely naive quality.
Well, you could always apply to be an artist in residence!
